I know. Unfortunately i haven't found a good looking highres icon library which can be used for free. That's why i'm sticking with the current icon set. But i know that the scaled icons do not look that good.

Smashing magazine often offers icon freebies/collections/resources. They're mostly for web use but worth a shot? Also, might just work better if the icons themselves were super simple, ala a lot of the iOS toolbar icons in their apps.
