In want to use Wieldy on my work(school). Its not allowed to install myself a unknown software, because it could damage our systeem.
So when I can use wieldy directly from my stick and keep all the settings and stuff on my stick I can use it anywere. The next step for my is te put it in my dropbox( see website), than I have a virtual stick can use it everywhere, wihout loosing it and automatic synchronisation?

You can download the zip file of Wieldy. Just unzip the application, as there is no installation of Wieldy itself required. But the target system muss be running windows and also the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 must be installed prior using Wieldy. Unfortunately the installation requires admin rights. If the .NET Framework is installed on your schools system, then you can use Wieldy. Else you may need to ask the admins to install the Framework.

Following up on the dropbox comment how do I save the file with my lists of tasks into dropbox?   I want to be able to use Wieldy on any computer in the house.  I have downloaded it onto the computers .What is the name of the working file?  I am computer illiterate and I cannot find the file.

The default filename is local.dat.

Depending on the version you use (Portable or installer) and on the access rights your user has. The file can either be found in the installation directory (mainly the portable version) or under the user settings (when using the installer).

The user dependant settings can be found here:

C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\Wieldy\Local.dat
