Respite when changing the order via drag and drop

Christoph 13 years ago updated by Kevin Erath 13 years ago 6
When I change the ordering of tasks by manually dragging a task to a different position, Wieldy 0.2.7.768 takes a respite of 4-5 seconds before showing the new order of tasks. During that time, the application hangs and is not responsive.

Did some changes to speed up custom sorting. The changes can be found with beta V0.2.7.832

Same issue in 0.2.7.768. Thanks
Yes, this happens every time. On my Win 7 installation the respite is longer than on my Win XP installation, but maybe this is because the former has much more actions, not because it's Win 7. And when I try this in the "Done" folder, I get an exception in both installations.
Both problems still exist in 0.2.7.829. UI freeze of 5-10 seconds after rearranging tasks, and if you rearrange tasks it in the "done" section, then it crashes heavily after the freeze.

Must be something more fundamental. Rearranging still takes about 5s in 0.2.7.835, and there is still a crash if I rearrange tasks in the "Done" folder (after the 5s delay).
+1
The crash should now be fixed. I also did some more optimizations.
I hope the version V0.2.7.836 will now run faster when using custom sorting
Well done, now everything is working properly!
