we need to have subtasks for a bigger task. like in the project MM, we have a task research, under research, we have research rendering, research gui, etc. though someway, we can use tags to do it, but, tags are not for such hierarchy. thanks
I would use subtasks to organize aspects of a project: i.e., prepare tax return, get tax slips from client, call, meet, prepare tax slips, input, review, copy, arrange deliver, review assessment.
It would be easier to show you using an outliner. All to do managers I use have to have this (subtasks).
Email me if you want more info.

How I use subtasks: I use them to think about a project. To organize stages in the project, under which I will have actions that I have to take to realize the goal. The goal would be the sub topic.
I also like to have subtask. I need this to get some stucture into the big tasks.
I think "Create sub projecs, and then, of course, sub-sub projects" is the same as this task.

Finally i found the time to implement sub-projects. You can now configure a parent project for any project. The subprojects are now listed as a tree.
This feature has been added with beta version: V0.2.7.843.
