dependencies how-to

first thanks for this straight forward implementation of GTD. hope you will maintain the clean interface and will not overload this perl with too many features. good work.

I know this sounds like a newbie question, but how do you suggest to organize dependencies in actions? Is this somehow supported in the project lists? If so, I don't get it.

best regards,
Alf

Actually Wieldy does not have a dependency-feature to link actions together. This means actually you can not configure that "todo1" has to be done before "todo2".

To group your actions together, you can use projects and tags. That way you can filter your todos. Additionally you could set a priority to your actions. That way you can for example set "todo1" on "high" and "todo2" to normal.

I had a feature planned to link actions together, but it seemed to be to complicated. Do you have many actions which depend on each others and it is not obvious which action is to be done first? If so, how would you like to manage this? Maybe we can find a more fitting solution for you.
